Chapter Support

In 2001, nearly 100 years after our founding, the Cleveland Alumnae Association was honored and excited to help colonize the Eta Zeta Chapter at John Carroll University.

Since that time, our association has continued to support the chapter. Whether helping with Recruitment and Initiation, sharing Founders Day celebrations, or welcoming graduating seniors as alumnae, we are always pleased to work with the next generation of Kappas. Our members serve on Eta Zeta's Advisory and House Boards and enjoy mentoring and learning from our John Carroll actives.

We are currently seeking advisors!

Characteristics of a Kappa advisor include:

  • Desire to work with college-age women.
  • Belief in Kappa Kappa Gamma and its standards.
  • Maturity, integrity, sound judgment, and flexibility.
  • Alumnae must be in good standing and be at least 2 years out of college.

What is the time commitment?
On average, you should expect to give about 5 hours each month to your advising role. You will mainly communicate with the chapter executive board via phone, email, and virtual meetings. Each advisor is asked to attend two (2) chapter meetings in person on campus each semester. Above and beyond, you can volunteer to attend any other special events as your schedule allows.
